The "Romana" variety takes it's name from the family that first started growing it in the Avola district, long ago.

How to recognize it:
- The shell: hard and wrinkled with tiny pores.
- The seed shape: Almost triangular
- The skin: smooth and delicate.



TASTING NOTES:

A delicate hint of vanilla, long-lasting finish and slight final note of honey.

- Demi-sec sparkling white wines
- Floral and fruity white wines
