The farmland
San Basilio is the symbolic heart of our work as farmers and our greatest center of production. Today, it is our largest parcel of farmland, where both young and century-old olive trees grow. Today, it is also our open-air laboratory of permanent research. Our farmhouse has been recently restored and features a small tasting room and a farm store. San Basilio's farm is the perfect place to taste some of the Val di Noto region's most interesting flavors.

The farming district
The history of olive trees at San Basilio is lost in the past 'like a nest in a bush' as our great grandfather, Andrea Padova, would have said. This former land of Basilian monks and Sicilian lords is bordered by white roads that cut through the land like rivers of silence and the air is filled with both wild and cultivated fragrances.
