The Frantoio verde is the home of our olives, where every ray and every seed really counts. Our mill is powered by solar panels and the products derived from the pressing of our olives (exhausted pulp and stones) are used to make natural fertilizers and pellets for heating homes in our area. Nothing is thrown away in San Basilio. In our own small way, we try to create a way of producing that has the least possible impact on the same land on which we grow and produce the same food we give to our children.
